POWER TO ARREST PHASE 1 (GUARD CARD)
This eight (8) hour basic course will provide the student with the initial training necessary to enter the security industry as an unarmed security officer.  We also provide the additional training needed for new guards to fulfill the requirements BSIS has put into effect.
SECURITY OFFICER EXPOSED FIREARMS PERMIT
This 2 day fourteen (14) hour course of instruction will provide the student with the requirements set forth by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) for obtaining an exposed firearms permit.  This course of instruction combines lecture and live fire and covers the ethical, moral and legal aspects pertaining to the ownership, transportation and use of firearms in the line of duty.  There will be an undetermined waiting period of approximately 30 days and sometimes more before licenses are issued by BSIS.
SECURITY GUARD ANNUAL REVIEW & PRACTICE
This eight (8) hour class is an annual requirement for ALL licensed security guards.  The class must be taken once per calendar year and is mandatory according to BSIS regulations. 
SECURITY OFFICER BATON PERMIT
This eight (8) hour course of instruction covers straight and expandable tactical baton (ASP).  Upon  satisfactory completion the student will (if you have a valid guard card) receive a baton permit to carry these defensive weapons.
MANDATORY TRAINING - PHASE 2
This training is required by BSIS.  A new guard will need to get 16 hours of training within the first 30 days of issue of guard card.  This 2 day, sixteen (16) hour course of instruction covers civil liability and the security guard, criminal liability, report writing, levels of force, observation and patrol techniques, public relations, ethics, communications, protocols, etc.  You will receive a BSIS approved numbered certificate upon completion. 
MANDATORY TRAINING - PHASE 3
This training is also required by BSIS to complete your 40 hour training requirements.  We offer two (2) different Phase 3 classes - one covers Chemical Agents, Arrest, Search & Seizure (Handcuffing), and Workplace Violence; the other consists of Trespass, Officer Survival and Handling Difficult People.  Each class is eight (8) hours in length and are offered several times per month.  You will receive a BSIS approved numbered certificate upon completion. 
COMMUNITY FIRST AID/ADULT, INFANT & CHILD CPR
(6 1/2 hours)  This American Red Cross certified course of instruction is an absolute must for all security and investigative personnel.  Students will be taught how to recognize and care for victims of sudden illness plus how to deal with cuts, bruises, bone and muscle injuries, shock, bleeding and other first aid emergencies. 
FIREARMS RE-QUALIFICATION :

Re-qualification Fee: $15.00 Ammo: We are no longer providing ammunition. You will need to bring 50 rounds of ammo per firearm.
Additional Caliber: $10.00 each Firearms Rental: $5.00 each
As long as you arrive between 10am and 12pm we will get you on the line.
NOTE:  IF YOU HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY CONVICTED OF A FELONY, YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO OBTAIN PERMITS.   YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE.
